What’s new in the March Pixel Drop?
All Android users are getting an easier way to see where someone is, help finding a lost bag at the airport, and Pixel Watch users are getting a way to make sure you don’t accidentally leave your phone somewhere. “At A Glance” is also getting an upgrade on Pixel.

Here’s a closer look at what’s new.
1. Share your live location in Messages
Probably the most useful updates are coming to Android in general and center around location. You can now share your real-time location in Google Messages without leaving a conversation.

There is already an option to share your location in Google’s default texting app, but it’s only for a one-time, static location. The new option updates as you move, making it much easier to connect with someone in a large crowd for a set amount of time.
2. Share a Find Hub link with airlines
Android users can now share a link showing the location of a lost piece of luggage with participating airlines, provided you have a tracker in your bag. The Find Hub already lets you see the location of a missing bag through a tracker, but the new feature lets you easily share the link with your airline to find your bag more quickly.
3. Google Play Shorts
Google announced several other upgrades for Android users, including Google Play Shorts, which lets you discover apps more easily through short-form videos from the apps themselves.

4. Calling cards

5. At a Glance upgrades
There are plenty of Pixel-specific upgrades as well, the most significant involving the “At A Glance” section of your home screen.

You’ll now see real-time transit updates about your daily commute, score updates for all followed teams during live games, and end-of-day updates from top movers in your Google Finance watchlist.
6. Find the Look
Circle to Search is getting a new option for Pixel users, with “Find the Look,” which identifies individual pieces of an outfit from images, and “Try on with Circle to Search,” which lets you see how clothing looks on you from videos, social content, or images.
7. Never leave your phone behind
Pixel Watch is getting two significant upgrades, including one that makes sure you never leave your phone behind. If your watch and phone are far enough apart that they disconnect, your phone automatically locks, and you’ll receive an alert on your watch.
