What OEM Tires Does The Toyota Tacoma Typically Come With?

Shopping for a new Toyota Tacoma means selecting the trim package with the right features that suit you. For instance, the SR5 is built for everyday driving, while the TRD Pro Trim might be worth it if you like going off-road. It’s also important to know what equipment you’re getting, not least the tires. But when it comes to the OEM tires fitted to the Tacoma, the answer varies depending on several factors.

The Tacoma’s factory tires are dictated by trim level, model year, and wheel size. For example, select models of the 2016 Tacoma came with the all-season Firestone Destination LE2 tires. The 2022 Tacoma 2WD with 16-inch wheels would have shipped with the Destination LE 2 or Kumho Crugen HT51. In contrast, the 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro had the Goodyear Wrangler Territory A/T, while the 2024 TRD Pro and Trailhunter models were equipped with the Goodyear Territory R/Ts. The 2025 Trailhunter had the Goodyear Territory R/T, while the 2026 Tacoma TRD Off-Road i-Force Max comes with 33-inch Falken WildPeak tires. Toyota has also worked with other tire manufacturers over the years, including Dunlop, Hankook, Michelin, and Toyo.

As you can see, Toyota doesn’t have a standard OEM tire for the Tacoma; instead, it selects tires based on production specs and intended use. Thus, two Tacomas from the same generation can have two completely different tires. This is the case before trim or even wheel differences come into play.

What to know before replacing Tacoma factory tires

Factory-installed Tacoma tires should generally last anywhere from 30,000 to 60,000 miles, regardless of the brand. However, the actual lifespan of your tires may vary and depends on several factors, including driving habits, road conditions, and general maintenance. According to Goodyear, you should rotate tires every 6,000 to 8,000 miles, along with regular air pressure checks to help maintain even wear and consistent performance.

When the time comes to replace the factory tires on your Tacoma, you don’t necessarily need to go with the same brand and model. Choosing the best tires for your Tacoma means considering how you actually want to use your truck and what you need from the tires. Thus, your choice will rely on factors such as whether you want tires with off-road capability, longer tread life, or good on-road comfort, to name a few. Or, if you want to retain the factory feel, then you could just get a set of the same tires.

Choosing new tires begins, however, with getting the proper fit. The best way to figure out the size you need is to check the sticker on the inside of the driver’s door or your Tacoma’s owner’s manual. Either source should give you the information you need to get the right size. Knowing what you need is important and can inform your decision-making process moving forward.

Need Extra Funds, Fast? Now You Can Get Up to P50,000 with Maya Easy Credit

Sometimes, you need extra funds quickly. This isn’t always due to errors or issues, but because life’s circumstances can be unpredictable: bills may accumulate and overlap, expenses might come sooner than expected, or your paycheck might not have been deposited yet. These common situations can catch you off guard.

That’s precisely where Maya Easy Credit[1], from Maya, the nation’s top Digital Bank and leading all-in-one fintech platform, fits in.

Now with an increased limit of up to P50,000, Maya Easy Credit offers quick access to additional funds during urgent times. Whether you need to cover overlapping bills, manage expenses before your next paycheck, or just create more breathing room, it’s designed to support you through those moments—without adding complexity.

The reality is that many traditional options are created for larger, long-term commitments, which are often more than what’s necessary for a short-term gap.

Maya Easy Credit offers flexibility without long-term commitment. You can use it as a revolving credit line: borrow only what you need, repay within 30 days, and pay a service fee starting at 3.99%, calculated only on the used amount. It’s straightforward, transparent, and easy to manage.

Honestly, this change has been inevitable for a while. For years, credit was stigmatized — seen as something to avoid and only used when problems arose. However, daily financial management no longer operates that way.

Lately, the focus is less on major emergencies and more on timing. Your expenses (gastos) don’t always align with your salary (sweldo), and often, the real challenge isn’t about affording something but having the funds available at the moment.

That’s why credit is beginning to seem different. No longer a last resort, but a useful instrument—something you can rely on when appropriate: short-term, adaptable, and straightforward to handle, providing just enough to keep progress steady.

Since Maya Easy Credit is integrated into the app you already use for payments and savings, it offers a seamless experience. You can check your available credit and make repayments directly within the app—no paperwork, no collateral, no additional steps. It provides instant access whenever you need it.

Having that option alters your perspective on managing money. What’s truly changing isn’t only how people utilize credit, but also how it integrates into daily life. It’s no longer just a resource for emergencies; it’s increasingly a part of everyday financial handling.

And sometimes, that’s all it takes—just a little extra to keep things moving.
