While the exact resolution and brightness figures are still under wraps, Asus confirms support for a high refresh rate alongside AMD FreeSync. This points to a smooth, tear-free gaming experience designed for fast-paced titles, with an emphasis on responsiveness and visual clarity over raw screen size.

Design-wise, the ROG Ally X20 leans heavily into the anniversary theme, featuring a translucent black shell that exposes internal layers for a more tech-forward aesthetic, paired with gold accents across the rear strip and select buttons. It’s a more expressive design than previous Ally models, clearly aimed at collectors and long-time ROG fans as much as core gamers.

Under the hood, it’s rumoured that the device is powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 Extreme chipset, the same silicon found in the ROG Xbox Ally X.
